Its body features a deep, compressed shape with striking black vertical stripes and long, flowing fins, resembling a skirt. This fish is a favorite among aquarists due to its unique look and adaptability to various tank setups.

They are resilient and well-suited for beginner aquarists, as they can tolerate a range of water parameters. Their active schooling behavior and elegant appearance make them a dynamic and attractive addition to any freshwater aquarium. With proper care, they can live up to 5 years or more!
