About Us

Pet Paradise is a full line independent pet shop that opened in Harvard, Illinois the fall of 1993. Jennifer Lich took over ownership of the store January 1st of 1997, at the age of 19. Since that time she acquired her Associate of Science Degree at McHenry County College in 1997, and her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Accounting at Columbia College in 2000. She married John Lich in 1998 and they now have four children.  Their children, Emily, JJ, Evan and Jolie, grew up & have worked within the pet shop environment, making this a truly family run business.

Currently, Pet Paradise carries a wide variety of quality pet supplies and food for dogs, cats, small animals, birds, reptiles and fresh/saltwater fish.
