The Sterbai Cory is a peaceful and hardy bottom-dwelling catfish, recognized for its striking pattern of white spots on a dark body and distinctive orange pectoral fins. As one of the most sought-after Corydoras species, this social fish thrives in groups and plays a vital role in keeping the substrate clean by scavenging for leftover food. With its active and endearing personality, the Sterbai Cory makes an excellent addition to freshwater community aquariums.

Additional Notes:
Sterbai Corydoras are bottom-feeders that thrive on a diet of sinking pellets, algae wafers, and frozen or live foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp. Since they prefer soft, sandy substrate, it’s important to avoid sharp gravel that can damage their barbels. These corydoras are also one of the few that tolerate warmer temperatures, making them an excellent choice for discus or warm-water community tanks.
